I had 10 coupons for yoplait today (friends printed them 4 me) so i did a run to publix believe me not an easy thing when you have a 2 year old who is just not feeling like going to the grocery store.
2.79 yoplait x 5 = 13.95 - 15.00 coupon (1.50 x 10)
= - 1.05 overage yay
so i picked up
2 packs of ground beef @ 2.10 each = 4.20 - 1/2 meat coupon found stuck on ground beef
1 bag sugar @ 1.99 - .55 coupon found on winn dixie home mailed flier
danimals 8 pack yogurt 3.50 x 2 - Free coupon that a stocker gave my son cause she thought he was cute lol
= 23.94
+ 1.49 muellers pasta b1g1 x 3 = 4.47 - 3.30 (.55/1 coupon x 6)
= 31.91 total
-5 /30 coupon mailed to me from winn dixe (remember publix accepts competitor coupons)
=26.91
-25.30 in coupons
=. 61 out of pocket cost
Oh yeah side note the ladies working at publix on alafaya and colonial are AWESOME. I was picking up the yogurt and a stocker says hold on I have some free coupons for yogurt for your son. Then checking out the bagger lady stopped got him a ballon and entertained him for me the whole time I was being checked out. And the assistant manager went out of her way to bring him a cookie and a lollipop this is why i love this store :)
